Suspension & Withdrawal Policy

Suspension: Suspension is a temporary state where one’s certification status is unavailable due to special circumstances and can be reinstated upon successfully fulfilling the required conditions.

Withdrawal: Withdrawal is a permanent state where one’s certification status is no longer valid.

Suspension:

  • The certification department will update the certified member if the certification status is suspended with a reason for the same.
  • The certification department can suspend the certification status under the following conditions.
  • A violation of ethics case is registered against a certified member and the decision is pending
  • If the member fails to provide any verification details requested by the certification department related to the eligibility criteria or exam attempt.
  • The certification department will not provide/or accept any kind of verification or release of information requests coming in from the suspended individual.
  • Usage of certificates, logos, and marks is prohibited during the suspension period.

Withdrawal:

  • The certification department will update the certified member if the certification status is withdrawn with a reason for the same.
  • The certification department can withdraw the certification status under the following conditions.
  • The certification expiry date has been crossed
  • A Violation of Ethics case has been concluded and the suspended individual is found guilty
  • The certified member does not wish to continue as a certified member.
  • The certification department will need a written request from the certified member if he wishes to withdraw his certification status.
  • Usage of certificates, logos, and marks is prohibited post withdrawal of the certification.
